The Shared Resources Module of GanFarm allows for managing, organizing, and reserving physical and operational resources within one or multiple rural establishments, in a centralized, visual, and controlled manner.

It is designed for agricultural producers, livestock farmers, field managers, contractors, and rural businesses that need to coordinate the use of shared infrastructure, spaces, and assets without conflicts, time losses, or overcrowding.

With GanFarm, each resource has its own profile, capacity, availability, and calendar, integrating naturally with reservations, services, appointments, and operations of the establishment.

🔧 What is considered a resource?

A resource can be any element limited in capacity or availability, such as:

  • Holding pens

  • Sheds and storage

  • Milking rooms

  • Agricultural machinery

  • Shared equipment

  • Productive spaces

  • Rural facilities

  • Common infrastructure of the establishment

📋 Resource Management

Each resource has a detailed profile, where the following is defined:

  • Resource name

  • Description

  • Associated establishment

  • Status (active / inactive)

  • Maximum capacity

  • Identifier color for the calendar

  • Operational use and availability

This allows for a clear and organized view of all available resources, avoiding planning errors and improving decision-making.

The system includes an advanced visual calendar, where it is possible to:

  • View reservations by day, week, or month

  • Quickly identify occupied or available resources

  • Filter by resource, establishment, or status

  • Detect overlaps and conflicts

  • Navigate chronologically in an intuitive manner

Each reservation is displayed with clear colors, statuses, and times, facilitating daily operational management.

📝 Resource Reservations

Reservations allow for blocking and assigning resources on specific dates and times.

Each reservation includes:

  • Reservation title

  • Assigned resource

  • Establishment

  • Client (optional)

  • Start date and time

  • End date and time

  • Duration

  • Number of units used

  • Priority (low, normal, high)

  • Status (pending, confirmed, canceled, completed)

  • Internal notes

  • Contact information

This allows for a complete management of the resource usage cycle, from planning to completion.

🔄 Statuses and Priorities

The module supports multiple operational statuses:

  • Pending

  • Confirmed

  • Canceled

  • Completed

And priority levels to organize and resolve conflicts:

Ideal for scenarios with high demand for shared resources.
